By accessing or using Bruce (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and organization members.
Bruce is an AI market intelligence platform that monitors sources across the web — including Reddit, Hacker News, RSS feeds, YouTube, GitHub, and more — scores signals with AI against your product context, and learns from your actions to continuously improve relevance. The Service includes AI-powered signal scoring, feed management, project memory, outbound webhooks, a REST API, and related functionality.
You agree not to:
You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or store in Bruce — including project configurations, feed subscriptions, signal actions, and feedback. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to host, store, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. We do not claim ownership over your content.
Bruce includes AI-powered features that score and classify signals from public sources against your project context. AI outputs — including scores, categories, explanations, and suggested actions — are provided “as-is” and may not always be accurate. You are responsible for reviewing and validating any AI-generated content before acting on it. We do not use your content or project data to train AI models.
Bruce operates on a credit-based billing system. Credits are consumed when the Service performs actions on your behalf, such as scoring signals or processing feeds. Free-tier users receive a limited credit allocation. Paid plans (Pro, Team) provide higher credit allowances and additional features. Credit usage is tracked per organization. Unused credits do not roll over between billing periods unless otherwise stated in your plan. We reserve the right to modify pricing and credit allocations with reasonable notice.
We provide a REST API for programmatic access to the Service. API usage is subject to these terms and applicable rate limits. API keys are issued per organization and must be kept confidential. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend API access if usage is excessive, abusive, or violates these terms. You are responsible for all activity conducted through your API keys.
The Service allows you to configure outbound webhooks to receive scored signals at HTTP endpoints you specify. You are solely responsible for the security, availability, and compliance of your webhook endpoints. Bruce signs webhook payloads with HMAC-SHA256 for verification; it is your responsibility to validate these signatures. We are not liable for data transmitted to endpoints you configure.
The Service aggregates content from publicly available third-party sources such as Reddit, Hacker News, YouTube, GitHub, RSS feeds, and others. Your use of content from these sources is also subject to the respective third-party terms of service and content policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party sources. Feed availability may change without notice due to upstream changes.
We strive to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Feed ingestion, AI scoring, and webhook delivery depend on third-party services and may experience delays or outages beyond our control. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bruce and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service — including but not limited to reliance on AI-generated scores or recommendations, missed signals, webhook delivery failures, or actions taken based on Service outputs. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated scores, classifications, or recommendations.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, exhaust your credits without renewal, or engage in activity that harms the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the Service or by email. Continued use of Bruce after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
